For Izzy's birthday, we had her first sleepover. She invited 8 of her friends, they were really good. We made homemade pizza and had dirt for dessert. Then they played a few games. The best part was when I told them it was time to get in jammies and get ready for bed, they changed, got in their sleeping bags, and pulled out books. Can you believe it? They all brought books to the sleepover! Needless to say, I didn't worry to much about them getting into trouble. They watched Penelope and stayed up until 1, but they were quiet. We had pancakes and bacon for breakfast and then they were on their way.
We also went to the Dixie Classic Fair in all its white trash glory. Actually, we love the fair. Especially when the kids get in free and they can get a wrist band for the rides. We had the usual fair food-fries, ice cream, cotton candy, and a fried snickers bar. Yes, a fried snickers bar. It was slightly disgusting, but slightly good. We saw some awesome mullets in the process.
