This has to be Caleb's favorite activity. He loves farm animals. This cute little farm is located about 45 minutes west of Winston-Salem in Jennings, NC. It is set on rolling hills. It is beautiful and creates and idealistic impression of farm life. We milked a cow, feed bottles to calves that were only a week old, feed chickens, goats, and sheep, found eggs in the hen house, pet horses, and we saw a huge steer named Hollywood. We also went on a tractor ride and saw more long-horn cows and goats.
Caleb had absolutely no fear when it came time to get up close and personal with the animals. It was hilarious to see him walk right up to a chicken and try to hug it while the other kids ran away screaming. Caleb is sure that every animal that roams the plant is meant for him to love, which it is, but he thinks that this means close contact. I can only hope that we don't run into a bear!

Doesn't Caleb look happy!? Maybe he will grow up to be a farmer.

Cianne, I have linked here from Shawni's blog and can't believe how big your kids are! It is so fun to see your family and how well you all are doing!
Caleb and Joshua would have so much fun at the farm together chasing after all the "aminals" We miss you guys, but it looks like you are having such a good time in NC!
