Grandpa Paul and Grandma Jo

We were so glad to have Grandpa Paul and Grandma Jo come to visit us over the New Year holiday. They, of course, spoiled us with Christmas presents. The girls got some adorable clothes and some great games-charades and card games. They got Caleb a whole bunch of University of Utah stuff. His favorite thing is a football that plays the Ute fight song and says "Go Utes!" They got Jordan some sandals and me some grown-up clothes. But the best gift of all was a shopping trip for stuff for our home. We got a beautiful piece of framed art for our family room and stuff to decorate the kitchen. It was so nice! That is the kind of stuff that I just don't buy for myself.

We had a great New Year's Eve party. Dinner was cooked by Dad and Jo. It was such a treat. Salmon, steak, and Dad's famous Caesar Salad were on the menu. Izzy planned the activities and we all stayed up until midnight, with the exception of Caleb, banging pots and pans and blowing noise makers outside.

Dad and Jo got a little tour of some great places in Winston-Salem. They were treated to the wonderful food known as barbecue and the Cook Out. We also made it to Tanglewood to see the horses and Old Salem to Winkler Bakery.

Thanks for making the trip out, Dad and Jo! Please come back soon. We had such a great time and no pictures to show for it!

Sorry Jordan had to work so much. That's pretty stink. I'm glad the kids had a great Christmas.
